As with any formal submission, the key to the quality and ultimately the likelihood of success for a project is preparation. Even the strongest ideas can be overlooked if they are not communicated effectively and efficiently. Each category of award has a separate application form containing a summary of the information required along with some suggestions and guidance as to how you should present your submission. Take some time to consider the information carefully and organize your application around the structure given. Take time to consider the overall 'story' you are conveying and do not lose sight of the fact that the application form may be the only chance that you get of presenting your project to the judges. Be as brief as possible and avoid unnecessary technical arguments which may get in the way. Make sure that you communicate clearly the 'true' innovative nature of the project. Ensure that your application accurately reflects the commitment to the project by both the business and the University. Communicate clearly the difference that the project has made to you, your clients and your business. Please Note: Please refer to the judges guidelines before making an application. |
